It is with a heavy heart that we recognize and mourn the passing of Ohio State Senator J. Kirk Schuring.

Senator Schuring was a long-time supporter of Ohio’s public retirement systems and their members. He was a respected and knowledgeable leader who championed true retirement security for workers. His passing is a profound loss for all Ohioans. He was a dedicated and tireless advocate and leader, who devoted his life to public service. More than that, he was a friend.
